This place was along the way on our drive back home so we gave it a try. The food was very good and flavorful but the spot is tiny especially for the amount of people that come in. Seating is limited inside and outside. The ambiance though is great, with the owners definitely showing off their Venezuelan roots. We ordered two Arepas and side orders of Yuca Frita and Tostones. The arepas where BIG and flavorful and so where the tostones. The yuca had a different type of taste from other yuca frita I’ve had. Maybe the way they fried or breaded it? Was not my favorite. I will say though that they would do well with maybe getting help in the kitchen. From the time we sat down after ordering to getting our food, it took 45 min. There was only 1 person that had ordered ahead of us when we got there and they weren’t super busy when we first arrived so service could definitely be quicker. Overall the food was great and would probably order ahead to go for next time!

Pleasantly surprised! Like a fast food version of Hola Arepa. Its very unhealthy, but hits the right notes - fatty and salty. Not someplace I would visit often, but once in a while for comfort food. The arepa pockets and masa lined empanadas are something new that I haven't tried anywhere in the twin cities before. Shredded beef versions of these were delicious. It wasn't super busy when I went, but it still took longer than I would like for my takeout order to come out. The sauce packets they give with the food goes well with it. This place has only been around for a couple months and still has the name of the old restaurant under the banner outside.

Very small authentic Venezuelan restaurant with delicious food. Seating is very limited. We loved the appetizers: plantains, empanadas and the "tequenos" (so good and cheesy!). The plates with meat, rice and beans and the sandwich made with plantains instead of bread are also highly recommended if you want to eat something authentically venezuelan and different. I personally did not like the arepa and I do not recommend it. The one that I had with carnitas had too much shredded cheese on the top (which was cold ), one side was harder than the other and the meat inside was salty.

Great small joint. The place is small. Large variety of food on the menu and bit overwhelming . Great service. Food was hot and fresh and yummy. Check them out when you get the chance. The green sauce was great!!

I had no idea you can get this type of food in Minnesota. Delicious arepas! Meat was juicy and flavorful. Plantains crispy. Beans were good as well. The crema/sauce they have is nice and tangy. The only thing I would've like is some spicy pickled red onions on top. The acid and spice would have made this a 5 star meal.

My arepa was completely soggy it was stuck into the meat and I basically just didn’t have a top piece. They also forgot the queso (which I asked for several times because I could tell they were gunna forget it). Aside from that, everything was good and I will be back, especially for the beef.
